What to Expect
The Journey to the North Pole holiday event is Anakeesta Christmas magic for all ages! You’reinvited to venture where few have gone before: the northernmost reaches of the world at the North Pole! Step aboard the North Pole Express gondola ride for a journey into the heart of a bustling northern village, where you’ll see cheerful elves hard at work and wander through charming shops filled with wonder.
After your arrival, enjoy a hearty meal or a tasty treat, as you’ll find plenty of seasonal dishes, festive sweets and lots of hot cocoa! The event also features a lineup of live holiday entertainment throughout the mountain, including Toyland Tales, Country Christmas Jubilee and performances by the Anakeesta Carolers.
After the sun sets, experience the new nighttime experience on Anakeesta’s Treetop Skywalk with Santa’s Flight! This is your chance to join Santa on a musical journey through a glowing forest filled with twinkling lights, Christmas music, and lots of North Pole magic!
Dates and Times for the Event
Journey to the North Pole begins in mid-November and runs through New Year’s weekend. Before your visit, be sure to check the official Anakeesta operations calendar, as the hours may vary slightly throughout the season. While you’ll definitely want to stick around in the evening hours when Christmas lights illuminate the mountain and Santa’s Flight comes to life on the Treetop Skywalk, you can come early during the daytime too! This is the perfect time to explore the themed destinations, seasonal dining, and live entertainment throughout your visit.
