When is the grand opening for Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge?
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will have its grand opening on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and other special festivities that are open to the public. All of the fun will take place at The Island shopping complex in Pigeon Forge.
To get to The Island, take the Parkway (U.S. Highway 441) and turn onto Island Drive. You’ll know when you’re close because you’ll see a giant ferris wheel!
What can I expect at the Pigeon Forge Margaritaville?
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will bring the atmosphere of Key West to Pigeon Forge. The restaurant’s decor ]will feature palm trees, an airplane, and an enormous blender (for mixing up giant margaritas of course)! Margaritaville is also a great spot for Jimmy Buffett fans to pick up some awesome memorabilia. If you’re a Parrot Head, this place is for you!
Margaritaville’s food and drink also contains a few references to Jimmy Buffett’s musical career. A whole section of the menu is devoted to “Burgers in Paradise”, a nod to Buffett’s famous song “Cheeseburger in Paradise”. Guests will also have the chance to sample the restaurant’s signature “Who’s to Blame” margarita.
