Spacious, awesome 3-story log cabin in private, gated log-home community, sleeps 10, 3 bedrooms, 2 queen sleepers, 4 TVs, and so much more! You will LOVE this cabin!

The top level of this gorgeous cabin has the awesome home theater room with authentic "theater" seating and a 10' screen. In this open loft area there is a comfy kingsize bed and a full bathroom, as well as the fun pooltable.

You enter the cabin through the lower level into the dining room and the fully-equipped kitchen. This level has the spacious living room with its 42" TV with satellite service, cozy gas fireplace and a queensize sleeper-sofa. The bedroom on this level has another kingsize bed, a relaxing jacuzzi whirlpool tub, a private bathroom and another 42" TV with satellite service. A half-bathroom is just off the living room, too.

There is a wraparound wooden deck on the main level with several wooden rockers for your enjoyment and a convenient gas grill. The relaxing hot tub is located is a separate gazebo attached to the deck.

The middle floor has another bedroom with a 32" TV with satellite service and the third full bathroom along with another queen sized sleeper sofa. On the wraparound deck on this level is the big, bubbling hot tub and two wooden rockers.

This cabin is located in an exclusive gated log cabin resort, about 15 minutes from the main Parkway through Pigeon Forge. It is very convenient to the area of Townsend, Cade's Cove, and the Wears Valley side of Pigeon Forge.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and stocked up. We had to call the office with a couple questions and concerns but nothing major. Each time we called, the office handled our call quickly, efficiently, and politely. We had a PERFECT stay. We will definitely be back next year and every other chance we get.

The cabin was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A slight issue with the projector, but maintenance was called, responded promptly and fixed the issue quickly and courteously. Everyone we spoke with at hearthside(office and maintenance) was very friendly. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The cabin could have been cleaner found paper under beds, Q tips under mattress, meat in refrigerator, refrigerator handle had ketchup or something on handles, carpets were not swept. I really don't mind paying for cleaning fee if just once we could rent a cabin and not have to spend first night cleaning and then we have to be out by 10:00 which is crazy so they have time to clean cabins. We really enjoyed the cabin just wish money spent on cleaning was being used on people that take pride in there work.

Reservation and check in process was amazing. The Smoky Mountain Getaway cabin advertised DirecTV, but had Dish Network. The toilets needed to a plunger used almost every other flush. I will credit myself with the fault of not looking prior to renting the cabin, but with poor cell phone signal, it is a must to have WIFI available. This cabin did not have internet available. Also, for a 10 person cabin, I was shocked at the poorly sized washing machine and dryer. It would have to run non-stop for the amount of people in the cabin, especially if using the hot tub. Directions provided by the gated pass was better than the emailed directions. The grill needs to be cleaned out prior to arrival, or it can catch fire easily, which it tried to on me before I had to put it out. The pictures make this cabin look much larger than reality. Pool table needs repaired. We couldn't enjoy playing on it because one of the bumpers was falling off with the felt. Overall, I was disappointed in the cabin and will most likely seek out alternative options in the future.

My overall experience was wonderful! I did have a hard time with the front entrance guard. We had a last minute family friend come and visit on our last night at the cabin and the guard would not let him through without a verbal okay from the rental company. This wouldn't have been a problem if it hadn't been 10pm at night, meaning the rental company was already closed.

This was the easiest and most pleasant vacation I've had in a long time. We did our check in online before our arrival and only had to call the office to get key passcode, therefore, we didn't have to waste any time finding home office and we loved how easy this was. Our cabin was gorgeous, however, in a small car like I have the roads and driveways can be a little tricky. The cabin was VERY clean! We didn't have great cell service and had no Wi-Fi at our cabin, however, this made vacation seem more like a vacation and we enjoyed each others company without electronic disturbances. We had everything we needed to cook with in the kitchen. Also when I called to let them know we were checking out the staff was super nice on the phone. Over all we loved the cabin, thought the staff was very nice, and will be back to stay with Hearthside again!

I really would like to rate our experience with you higher, however, there were a few issues that we ran into. #1. The carpet was really filthy. There was a big brown mark beside our bed (on the loft). Also, my grandson, who can only crawl, ended up with black knees and the top of his feet. Needless to say, we didn't want him on the floor. I think if you go and check out the carpet (all of it) you will understand. That's the first thing we noticed as we walked in the door. Everybody kept their shoes on. #2. The bathroom up on the loft floor had no counter by the sink. We had to be careful the curling iron did not fall into the sink. There was nowhere to put it. There also were no towel racks in that particular bathroom. #3. There was nowhere to hang/put your clothes. We had to lay them over the banister. There was a chest of drawers in that bedroom, however, it was full of pillows, etc. that I guess are the owners. The bedroom on the second floor did not have anywhere to put clothes either. #4. The light bulb was blown in the bathroom by the kitchen when we got there. #5. There was constantly a stream of ants crawling above the kitchen sink on the window sill and counters. We did not leave any food out from the beginning. We kept open boxes/bags in the microwave at all times. #6. At the back door (pool table level), on the second or third day of our stay, we saw termites on the top left of the door (outside). I was going to call the office about it when we got back later that day, but it was too late. The following day we did not see any. We do know what termites look like because we have dealt with this before. We did enjoy visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The mountains are a beautiful creation of God. The steep hill to our cabin is an ongoing joke with our family. As far as recommending this to a friend/family member, I would not recommend this particular cabin unless the above issues were taken care of.

Cabin and staff nice. Knives is kitchen TERRIBLE. Should definitely be replaced. Ordered pizza from place on fridge magnet. Paid cabin charge to have them deliver. Guard would not let them up so I had to drive down and get it. If you put pizza delivery advertisements in the cabin, you should allow them to actually deliver. I paid $5 extra to them for cabin fee. Doesn't make sense for you to place their ads in cabin if you won't allow them to deliver. If you are that concerned about security, you should have required the maintenance guys to carry ID. The came to cabin to fix home theater with no ID. Could have been anyone for all I know. Doesn't make sense that you allow that but won't let the pizza guy in.

The front desk was very helpful with directions and information on the cabin. I only wish someone would have said or the website would have described the terrible road to get to the cabin. We came for Rod Run and had two trailers to tow. So it made it less than pleasant. Also the railing on the deck near the hot tub is excessively loose and someone should check so a child doesn't get hurt badly. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

I loved the cabin. It was modern , spacious, and clean. However, there was a concern with the deck spindles that needed to be replaced. We had small children and that became a safety concern.

We had a family trip that was so enjoyable. The chalet was beautiful. The staff that ran the gate were courteous and helpful. The chalet was more that we could ask. The staff at your office were all friendly and so helpful letting us know all that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge had to offer. We had a blender that did not work and the Jacuzzi bath tub did not work. The staff immediately took care of both problems. Enjoyed our stay so much. Will be back next spring for sure.

The cabin was great. We could have used a broom and a dust pan but other than that everything was great. The only thing that we would have liked a little better was the adventure pass. We were able to use one of the passes but when you have three different families in the same cabin, it wasn't quite fair of only one person to be able to use it.

I called at 3:15 gave all my info to the lady over the phone . When i arrived at the gate they had non of our information. we had to take one car at a time to unload made it very frustrating with young kids. Then the gaurd gavd us a map with the wrong directions which was aggervating having two set and dont know what is right after driving all over the mountian finally made it to the cabin. Where the hot tub was not working, the ice machine was not working. Then Christmas day it rained all day the bathroom down stairs leaked getting my hair steightner soken wet and the flood constantly cleaning it up. Then my husband fell lucky he just bursed up big knot on his head. Non of the dishes where washed had to clean them all before wd used them Not worth what we paid. We checked out a day early in iust aggervation.

Great experience from the customer service to the cabin accommodations. Had to call for maintenance on the 2nd day due to bad pluming, the positive to the maintenance call was how prompt the service call was taken care of. Thanks for the opportunity to stay with one of your properties!

Reservation Guarantee

The reservation guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 15 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 5 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 6 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods the reservation guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the deposit guarantee is an optional charge, Alpine Chalet Rentals has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
