2015 Starts With a Bang at the New Year’s Fireworks Show in Gatlinburg

No one celebrates New Year’s Eve quite like the city of Gatlinburg! The 27th Annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show and Ball Drop is going to be even bigger and better than before, and everyone is invited. Read on for everything you need to know about this Smoky Mountain tradition.

Where and When
The New Year’s Eve fireworks in Gatlinburg will take place at midnight at the bottom of the Gatlinburg Space Needle close to the intersection of Historic Nature Trail and the Parkway. Be sure to get there early to get a good spot for the show!


What to Expect
Fireworks will blast off the 400 foot tall Space Needle’s rooftop at the stroke of midnight on January 1, 2015! The New Year’s Eve fireworks in Gatlinburg are produced by Pyro-Shows of LaFollette, Tennessee, and the show features special music choreographed to the fireworks. In addition, rhythmic LED lights have been added to the Space Needle tower to make the show even more spectacular.

In addition to the New Years Eve fireworks and ball drop events, the entire town of Gatlinburg will be celebrating the arrival of 2015! Many restaurants and businesses throughout town will be offering celebration specials to commemorate the event.
