The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair comes to town in July as artisans and craftsmen from around the USA present their amazing craft products! The event features 200 booths where guests can watch these skilled artisans demonstrate their talents and purchase one-of-a-kind craft items. This is a wonderful chance to bring home a unique souvenir or gift from your vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains! Here is all the information you need about the 42nd Annual Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair:
Dates, Times and Location
The Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair runs from July 14 to 23, 2017, and is open from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. The 
only exception to these hours is on Sunday when the fair is open from 10 AM to 5 PM. The event takes place at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, which is conveniently located at traffic #8 in downtown Gatlinburg. The Convention Center address is 234 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg TN, 37738.
Admission Information
Admission to the fair for adults is $7.00, while children 12 and under are admitted to the event for free. The admission cost includes access to all of the craft booths, as well as live musical performances and children’s activities.
What to Expect at the Fair
Arts and Craft Booths
Bring the whole family out to browse the many arts and crafts booths set up throughout the Gatlinburg Convention Center. All crafters will be on hand to discuss their artistic creations and to demonstrate how they create their fascinating crafts. This is the perfect opportunity to purchase some unique wood carvings, pottery products, jewelry items, jams and jellies, and much more!
Country, Gospel and Bluegrass Music Shows
Take a break from the craft tables to listen to some fantastic live 
music at the fair’s country, gospel and bluegrass music shows! These live performances include several genres of popular music, ranging from old time rock and roll, country hits and gospel songs to Elvis Presley favorites. The performances also include comedy to keep you laughing throughout the day! Shows take place daily at Noon, 2 PM and 4 PM, except on Sundays when they take place at Noon and 2 PM.
Kids Corner
You don’t have to be worried about your kids getting bored at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair as the event features a special area just for children! This is a great opportunity to get your kids interested in crafts with some easy and fun activities. Who knows, maybe one day they will be showing off their craft items in a booth at the fair!
